Cancellation & Refund Policy

The Infinity Project

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to services offered by BARR2148 LIMITED (Company Number 15182433), registered in England and Wales, and accessible worldwide via www.senshin2148.com.

1. Service overview

The Infinity Project is a digital memory preservation service. Participants may submit content such as name, image, and ideas (“Submissions”) for inclusion in an archive. Participants choose either:

  • Public Archive (details publicly visible), or

  • Private Archive (only name and country publicly displayed).

No account creation is required.

2. Right to cancel (UK, EU, and international)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and similar consumer laws in the UK/EU, customers may ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases. However, this right can be lost for digital content/services once performance begins, if the customer expressly consents.

By confirming payment (where applicable) and authorising us to create and/or publish your archive entry, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • the Service may begin immediately (for example, by creating and/or displaying your archive entry according to your chosen archive type), and

  • where legally permitted, you request immediate performance and understand that the statutory cancellation right may no longer apply once the digital service has begun/been delivered.

3. No refunds (digital product)

The Infinity Project is a digital product. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

This includes situations where:

  • you change your mind after your entry has been created and/or displayed, or

  • you later decide you would prefer a different archive option after delivery has started.

(You can still request complete removal of your entry under our Removal Policy, but removal is not a refund.)

4. Our flexible approach (good faith exceptions)

While refunds are not automatic, we may, at our sole discretion, provide a refund or credit in limited circumstances such as:

  • duplicate or accidental payment,

  • a technical error that prevents the Service from being delivered as described,

  • a cancellation request received before we start creating/publishing your archive entry (where applicable),

  • other exceptional cases we consider fair and reasonable.

If approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible.

5. How to request cancellation or a refund review

To request a refund review or raise a billing issue, contact us:

Because no account is required, there is no login-based cancellation.

For security, we may request reasonable information to verify that you are the person who made the purchase or submitted the entry.

6. Data handling

If you request removal of your entry, we will delete your profile from the Service and stop displaying it, in line with our Privacy Policy. We do not retain personal data beyond what is strictly necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or regulatory obligations.

7. Our commitment

We aim to run the Service fairly, transparently, and professionally. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will review the issue in good faith and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
