Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The Infinity Project
Effective date: 14 December 2025
Welcome to The Infinity Project, a digital memory preservation service available at www.senshin2148.com.
This FAQ explains how the Service works in plain language. If anything here conflicts with our Terms or Privacy Policy, the Terms and Privacy Policy take priority.
1) What is The Infinity Project?
The Infinity Project is a digital memory preservation service. Participants can submit memories and creative contributions such as a name, image, and ideas (“Submissions”) to be preserved within an archive.
2) Do I need an account to participate?
No. No account creation is required to participate.
3) Can participants talk to each other?
No. The Service does not include messaging, comment sections, chat, or participant-to-participant communication. Participants cannot talk to each other through the Website.
4) What are the Archive options?
You choose one of two archive options:
Public Archive
Your details and Submissions are publicly visible (anyone can view them).
Private Archive
Only your name and country are publicly displayed. Your other Submissions are not publicly displayed.
5) What should I submit?
You may submit content such as:
-
your name
-
your country
-
an image
-
ideas / written content / creative thoughts
Please submit only what you are comfortable preserving and, if you choose the Public Archive, making public.
6) What should I avoid submitting?
For privacy and safety, please avoid submitting:
-
home address, phone number, identity documents/numbers, financial details
-
extremely sensitive personal information
-
personal data about other people unless you have their clear permission
-
anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory
-
anything you do not have the right to share (copyrighted content you don’t own, private images of others, etc.)
7) Is my entry public forever?
It depends on the archive option you choose.
-
Public Archive: public visibility means your content may be copied, shared, or indexed by search engines. Even if you later request removal from our Website, we cannot guarantee removal from third-party sites or search caches.
-
Private Archive: only your name and country are public; the rest of your Submission is not publicly displayed.
8) Can I change from Public to Private (or Private to Public)?
If you want to change your archive option, contact senshin@barr2148.com. We will review the request and confirm what is possible.
Note: if your content has already been public, we can change visibility on our Website, but we cannot control copies made by others.
9) Can I delete my entry completely?
Yes. You can request complete removal of your profile (Public or Private) by emailing senshin@barr2148.com.
We may ask for reasonable information to verify the request is genuine. Once verified, we will remove your entry from our Service and confirm when it is done.
10) How long does removal take?
We aim to handle removal requests within a reasonable timeframe. The time can vary depending on verification and the complexity of locating the entry.
11) Do you share my data with anyone?
No data sharing for marketing or advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share participant Submissions for third-party marketing.
We may use essential service providers (for hosting, security, payments where applicable) only to operate the Website and Service, and only under appropriate safeguards.
12) Do you use cookies?
Yes, the Website may use cookies to operate properly, improve performance, and support security.
Where non-essential cookies are used, we will request your consent via a cookie banner (where required).
13) Is there a refund?
The Infinity Project is a digital product. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
In limited cases (like duplicate payments or a technical error), we may provide a refund or credit at our discretion.
14) When will “capsules” be created?
“Capsules” (compiled preservation outputs) are designed to be created once the Service reaches between 100,000 and 1,000,000 users.
Until that threshold is reached, your archive entry may still be created and displayed according to your chosen archive type. We cannot guarantee a specific timeline for reaching the threshold.
15) What if I submit something that breaks the rules?
We may refuse, restrict, or remove content that breaches our Terms, Equal Opportunities Policy, or applicable laws. If removal is due to a policy breach, refunds are not due (where fees apply), except where required by law.
16) Is the Website accessible?
We aim to make www.senshin2148.com accessible and inclusive. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need support, email senshin@barr2148.com and we’ll do our best to help.
17) Can I copy content from the Website or The Infinity Project?
No. All resources created by us are not to be copied or distributed. This includes our website design, layouts, templates, written copy, graphics, archive presentation formats, and other materials created by us.
You may view and use the Website for personal use in accordance with our Terms, but you must not copy or republish our materials without written permission.
18) Who owns my submission?
You retain ownership of your Submission. By participating, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, format, and display it only as needed to operate the Service and according to your chosen archive type.
19) How do I report a problem or complain?
Email senshin@barr2148.com with a description of the issue and any helpful details. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and respond within 10–20 working days (longer if the issue is complex, in which case we will let you know).
20) What if I have a data protection concern?
Email senshin@barr2148.com first so we can address it. You also have the right to contact your local data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
21) Who runs The Infinity Project?
The Service is operated by BARR2148 LIMITED (Company No. 15182433), registered office: 20 Ashfield Road, Leicester, England, LE2 1LA.
